Volume of electronic money in Ukraine rose by 42% in Q1 2012
As UNIAN correspondent informed, it was reported by ) Tetiana Kovalenko, deputy head of the cashless payments policy department of the department of payment systems of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to her, the amount of transactions with the use of electronic money in the Q1 2013 accounted for UAH 511,000, which is 2 times more than in the same period a year ago. Kovalenko also reported that the leader in the volume of operations with electronic money is payment system "GlobalMoney."
She also said that at present the regulator agreed rules with such systems of electronic money as "Maxi" (issuer - "Alfa-Bank»), «MoneXy» (issuer - "Fidobank") and "GlobalMoney" (issuer - "Oschadbank") .
