Young Azerbaijani scientists can get grant ‘Kaspersky Lab’
Kaspersky Lab has announced the launch of an updated program of grants for young scientists on research projects in the field of information security.
The Company reports that now it will be open not only for Russian researchers but also for their counterparts from the other CIS countries, in particular from Azerbaijan. Receipt of applications is already open and all grant applicants will be offered to select one of the actual tasks in such IT fields as classification of malicious and potentially unwanted programs, methods of detection and analysis of cyber threats, information security in enterprise environment, content analysis, and security of mobile devices.
The authors of the five best, according to the jury, ideas will be able to implement them with the direct involvement and support of Kaspersky Lab. For these purposes, the Company will provide by 100,000 rubles for each winner for research and assist with search of statistical data, while its experts will provide consulting support.
Presentation of finished projects will be held later this year in Moscow. Grant applications are accepted until 18 March 2013 at firstname.lastname@example.org. The winners will be announced on 15 April. Work on projects is given 7 months. Research results will be presented on 2 December 2013.
