Western banks began to withdraw capital from Ukraine
Western banks from the beginning of this year began to withdraw capital from Ukraine. It was said by the corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Ihor Mantsurov during a recent videobridge Moscow-Kyiv "Greater, than CIS: new format of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth".
According to his data, for 9 months of 2012 Raiffeizenbank withdrew approximately 20% of its total capital in Ukraine, "Alfabank" - 11%, Ukrsotsbank - 12%.
"And only Russian banks, first of all Sberbank and VTB, extend their presence in Ukraine", - Ihor Mantsurov underlined. He, in particular, said that from the beginning of 2012 Sberbank increased by 180% its volume of financial resources in Ukraine.
